What a Slacker!

So its been a while again! I swear life is just going by very fast these days I can't believe that Jackson will be three months in July! We haven't really been up to anything this month and maybe that's why I really haven't posted anything. The weather has been horrible and kind of cold. I haven't been able to put Matt's pool out or sprinkler's and he's been sad about that. But hopefully now the weather won't be so bad. This is a picture of Matty playing with a ball. My mom gave him this ball and he has been loving it. I didn't know that such a simple toy could bring hours and hours of fun! He loves throwing it around the house and sometime's hitting me in the process! He thinks that's hilarious!
This is my cute baby boy. He has been smiling so much lately and I love it. This morning when I went to get him in bed he gave me the biggest smile. I'm so excited that he's in this stage right now because it makes everyday so great! He is such a good boy and he sure loves his food! He's starting to get fat and I love it!

Here is another cute picture of Jackson I am so blessed to have two amazing boys in my life. I am also very blessed to have a great husband. I am surrounded by boys here but I wouldn't have it any other way.

This is Matt with Jackson. He had a hard time with him at the beginning but now he's starting to love him. He loves to tell me when he's awake and I usually don't hear him to its nice to have Matt telling me. He also loves to tell him what a good boy he is (hopefully he keeps that up). Two such sweet boys what more could a mom ask for! Hopefully my next post I'll have some fun or interesting news so until next time...

It's been awhile!

Its been awhile since I've written anything on my blog and its not that nothing has been happening its that lots has been happening and when your not getting much sleep it seems to make things even harder to get done! I loved this picture of Matt with Jackson. Every time Matt holds him he wants me to take a picture of them. Its so cute! I am so grateful from my boys and for the love and joy they bring into my life.
I love pictures of babies in the bathtub its always something that you have to take a picture of. Jackson was so cute in the bath and he's starting to like it a lot more. He used to scream the entire time he was in the bath and now he just sits there and loves being in the warm water. What a good boy he is!

Here is Jackson getting all warm in his towel. What a cute face!

Jackson was also blessed on Sunday and it was such a special day for our family. This is his blessing outfit and it was also Matt's blessing outfit as well. He looked so darn cute! Tim was able to bless him and he gave him such a sweet spiritual blessing. I'm so thankful that Tim can bless him and that he honors and respects his priesthood. Afterwards we had some family and friends come over to our house for a breakfast. I didn't make any of the food so I can say that it was all amazing! Thanks again to everyone who brought food over. Jackson is such a sweet little boy with such a great spirit and I am so grateful that he is a part of our family!

I'm Back!!!

I used to blog almost every week and I was looking at my blog and its been almost a month. Wow time really does fly by when your sleep deprived! Things are going good for our family we are just still trying to adjust to having 2 kids. Matt is doing okay with Jackson, sometimes he loves him to death and other times I have to defend Jackson from his brother. I know this is all normal I just hope that Matt can start to understand that Jackson is not leaving. He keeps asking me when Jackson is going home. But anyway I wanted to put some pics on my blog of the last couple of weeks and what we've been up to. The pic above is Jackson with his cousin Ashlynn. Tim's sister Heidi and her kids came down for the afternoon a couple of weeks ago and we had lots of fun together. Heidi had a baby not long ago either so its nice to know that other people are as tired as I am, probably more than me!
This is Matt with Ashlynn, he loves his cousin!
Matt with Carter. They are only 5 months a part and Carter is like 2 inches taller than Matt. I think its pretty funny!
On Mother's day weekend we hung out with Tim's family on Saturday and it was nice seeing everyone. The boys made us KFC for dinner and it was very good. It was just fun seeing everyone. Tim's sister from Cedar City and her husband Mark and their little boy Spencer came up so it was fun seeing them. This pic is Spencer, Matt, and Carter playing on the floor. It will be so fun watching all of these boy cousins grow up together. Lots of fun times ahead! On Mother's Day I went to church with Matt and Tim stayed home with Jackson. Tim tried to make me breakfast but I don't eat very much in the morning because I get sick so that idea was shot. Later that day we went to my parents house and my dad made us dinner and he did a great job. I loved seeing everyone and just relaxing and enjoying every one's company. Thanks boys for making Mother's Day fabulous for all of us mothers!

So I decided to buzz Matt's head and I did a good job in the front but that back....
The guard on the blade came off and I totally messed up Matt's hair. I was going to take him to get it fixed but his hair is actually already grown back in. I told Tim that I would just try to take him to get his hair cut in the future. Who knows if that will really happen but I can always try right?
This is Matt being cute with Jackson. I know they will be good friends when they get a little older.
All of my boys! I love them all very much and I'm so thankful for them in my life!

I am Alive...

I wanted to start this post with saying that I am alive and well. Life has been pretty crazy lately but I wanted to write a post letting everyone know what has been happening the last two weeks.
On Friday April 10th I was having some contractions and some weird pains so I decided to go into the hospital to make sure everything was okay. They hooked me up to some heart monitor machines and a couple of times when I had a contraction Jackson's heat rate went very low. So they decided to keep me in the hospital and induce me. I was suppose to get induced two days later so they figured it was okay. The funny part was that one of my best friends Valynn was having a baby two rooms down from me. We thought we would have our kids on the same day but it didn't happen. So I went to the hospital at 4:00pm and little Jackson was born at 1:20am Saturday morning April 11th. He weighed 7lbs 1oz and was 19.5 inches long. He is such a beautiful baby.
After he was born he started turning kind of grey so they brought him down to the nursery to give him some air. I did get to hold him for a second which I was very grateful for. The next day he was getting worse and by the next day even worse. He was having a hard time breathing on his own without help. Then on Monday morning at 1:30am I got a call from his doctor saying that they were going to put him on a ventilator and transfer him to Utah Valley Medical Center in Provo. Tim and I watched our little guy get loaded up on the ambulance and it was one of the hardest things to watch. It was so sad for us to see now our second child have to go to the NICU. So we were up all night making sure Jackson was taken care of that by the next day we were so tired. When he got to the hospital he also had Jaundice so he was under the lights for a couple of days as well. He had many IV's for possible infections, the lights for jaundice, and his ventilator. I felt so bad for him and I could hardly touch him because he was in so much pain, it was awful to watch. But everyday more things starting coming off of him.
Also last week Matt got a really bad sinus infection and he didn't feel good, and our basement flooded. So last week was seriously a week that I never want to have again. But I am so thankful for family and friends who are so willing to help us when we really needed it. So this week has been better, Jackson is doing better and better each day and eating like a champ. He eats so much food and even the nurses were saying that they've never seen a baby eat so much! What a strong boy I have! So hopefully he'll get to go home tomorrow that's the plan right now and I promise that next time I update I will have lots of cute pictures of Jackson. I just wanted to let everyone know what happened and give you a heads up about our life right now! Until next time!

Conference Weekend

We had a great Conference weekend and I'm so sad to see it over! I love listening to all the General Authorities and all of there amazing inspiring messages. They always make me want to be a better person after I'm done listening to them. Matt was pretty good during conference, every old man he saw he would call the prophet it was really cute. During the morning session of General Conference I laid on the ground because my back was hurting so bad and Matt laid down next to me. I told Tim to take a picture because I thought it was so cute that he wanted to be next to me.

This is Matt reading my book, he was totally into and I thought he was so cute!
Baby Update: Well I went to the doctor again and nothing has changed :( Oh well I get induced in a week from today so I can't really complain and he's inducing me 1 week early. But it would be nice to go before because I am so uncomfortable. But I am so excited for this little guy. I want to see what he looks like :) I will be posting pictures for sure after he's born to stay tuned for next week!

Early Easter/Birthday

Well this year my birthday was lots of fun! I haven't been feeling to well lately, just being pregnant and all, but I still had a great birthday weekend. It started out when we went to Tim's grandparents house on Friday night and they cooked us dinner. We just hung out and talked and it was nice to get out of the house and not cook dinner. What better present can you ask for? Then on Saturday we went up to Tim's parents house. Most of Tim's family was there except for his sister Carrie and her husband Mark but they live in Cedar City so will let it slide! No we love them and miss them a lot. We got to hang out for awhile and then we had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Tim's sister is blessing their baby on Easter Sunday so we decided to have the kids do an Easter egg hung earlier because that day is going to be crazy busy! The picture above is of Matt and his Aunt Heidi. He kept going up to her and asking her to hold him. It was cute!
This is Carter, Ashlynn, and Matt getting ready to find eggs! Ashlynn was great about sharing all the eggs with the little boys.

Matt wasn't quite sure what he was doing he thought he could eat the eggs! But after while he got the hang of it and had fun looking for the eggs.

Matt looking for eggs with his Nanny.

This was after they found all the eggs. All the kids got loaded with lots of yummy treats. The fun thing about having a kid is the parents get to eat lots of the treats to! Later that night Tim took me out shopping but I didn't really want to buy anything when I have 2 weeks left of being pregnant so I'm going to get something after I have the baby. But I did find an outfit for my boys and a belt for Tim. Then we went to the movies and we saw "Knowing" I pretty much hated it! I mean the concept was okay but it freaked me out! I was also so uncomfortable the entire movie my back was killing me. But I was very grateful that Tim took me out and that we just got to enjoy hanging out together. On Sunday which was my actual birthday I got to sleep in, went to church, took a nap, and then we went to my parents house. My mom and dad cooked dinner, I got presents, I won the game Wacky 6, and I got to just relax which is what I wanted! I of course got presents from people and I want to thank everyone for that! But it was such a nice birthday weekend and I couldn't have asked for anything else!
Update on the baby: I went to the doctor last Thursday and he said that I'm dilated to a 2 1/2 already and that the baby can pretty much come at anytime. I am so ready for him to come! I am so uncomfortable right now. He did an ultrasound and he thinks the baby looks just over 6 lbs. right now so that's good. So I'm pretty much just waiting for him to arrive. If I don't go into labor anytime soon I know that I will at least be induced April 13th! Yeah wish me luck!
