Here is to my wonderful dad! For those of you who haven't heard my dad passed away on Aug 1 at 6:15 pm. He had some blood clots in his abdomen that the doctor's couldn't get under control and it eventually shut down all of his organs. He had never been sick or in the hospital in his life up to this point. He was in the hospital for about 3 days until he died. He was only 55 years old.
I am so grateful for my dad and for all that he taught me. He taught me how to have a sense of humor, how to laugh at my mistakes, and how to truly love everyone for who they are. He is such an amazing man and the best part of this experience is that I'm not scared of where he is now. I know that he's with heavenly father and I'm so grateful that he gets to be with them and that he doesn't have to worry about earthly things anymore. This picture above was on the 4
th of July with Matt. Matt still talks about how they watched fireworks together. He misses his grandpa a lot.
I know that our family will be together forever and I'm so grateful
for this knowledge that I have. If I didn't have this knowledge I know that I would not be doing that good right now.
This is my dad's last birthday. Of course he has Matt with him because he always has Matt wherever he is. These two had so many good times together.
I love my dad with all my heart and I miss him so much already. I know that it will be tough without him but I know he's watching out for all of us and that someday I will get to see him again.
