Summer 2010

Okay so it's been awhile since I've posted and I'm sorry about that. I haven't really been in the posting mood for some reason but I'm back and I'm excited! We've been doing a lot this summer mostly just hanging and playing but we have been loving the weather and I love being with my boys!
This is Matt drawing with chalk outside. He loves drawing but he always comes inside covered with chalk dust.

This is Tim and I on our anniversary. Its been 7 years I can't believe it! We went out to dinner and to a dollar movie that I've been waiting to see. We had lots of fun and I'm so grateful for my husband everyday! He is truly the best!

This is on one of our visits to Tim's parents house. This is Jackson and Matt with Tim's dad. I thought this picture was cute!
This picture was taken on father's day at my dad's grave. It was an emotional father's day this year but I tried my best to make it special for Tim because he is a great father as well.

I took Matt to his first Rodeo in Lehi and he loved it! He loved the horses, cows, motorcycles, and the bulls. I love being able to do fun stuff with him now that he's a little older.

We also went up to Tim's sister's house and the kids had lots of fun being together!
Matt has recently learned that he can just drop his pants and pretty much go anywhere. I do have to say that his father taught him this. I loved this picture of his cute bum!

This was on the 4th of July we went up to Tim's parents house for a little while and all the kids got in the water and played and had lots of fun!

This is Matt getting ready to watch the Parking Lot of Fire at my mom's house. He loves sitting next to the girls!
This is Matt doing a sparkler right before he burned his hand. Of course even when your sitting there right next to them they can still do that!

We went to Park City for a little vacation and this is us on the Gondola ride. It was fun but I got kind of sick because it was so hot in there!

This is our family at the zoo.

This is Matt getting ready to ride the train. I love this smile on his face what a great kid!
Matt and his Grammy on the Alpine Slide.

This is Cody, Sarah, Ren, and Matt at the Olympic Park.

Matt riding a horse.

Jackson has just been learning how to walk and he is so adorable when he is trying. This is one of the first pictures I got of him standing on his own. He is so proud of himself!

This is the boys at Cabela's looking at the fish.

This was the Lehi City Foam day. Here is Matt, Corbin, and Jackson playing in the bubbles. Matt loved it but the other two boys weren't so sure.

Matt covered in bubbles. We've had a great summer and I have so many more pictures but I can't post all of them. I am really going to try and be better about updating my blog. Until next time....

Jackson's 1st Birthday

This is a post to Jackson Lee Adams who turned one on April 11. This is a picture of him when h was one day old. I got to do his hair and I thought he looked adorable! After he was born he started having trouble breathing and it was soon learned that he had pneumonia. Two days after he was born he was transferred to Utah Valley hospital and was well taken care of.
Here is little Jackson on oxygen looking so darn cute I can't handle it! I didn't include a picture of him on a respirator with lights on him because of jaundice. He seriously looks so bad so I wanted to put pictures when he started feeling better. This is when he was about a week old.

Just chillin in the NICU!

My little man wearing his dad's hat. He is such a sweet, good boy I am so thankful he is a part of our family.

Seriously looking at his face makes me happy!

Here is Jackson opening up presents on his birthday. It was funny because I was nervous about what he would do. He totally went after his gifts and even though he didn't know exactly what he was doing he had his cousins there to help him!
Jackson getting ready to eat his cake.
This was when we were singing happy birthday to Jackson and he wasn't quite sure what to think.

He did a great job at eating his cake. He got it all over himself but that's why he's naked!

All the grandparents with Jackson. I am so thankful that Jackson is here with our family and for all the joy he brings into my life! I love you Jacks!

New Business

Well I decided to start a business selling Herbalife products. Many of you may be wondering why I decided to do this and what Herbalife is exactly. Well let me tell you. Since my dad died I have felt awful all the time physically and emotionally. Finally about 3 weeks ago I decided that I need to try to help myself feel better. I wasn't eating a lot because really nothing tasted good and I just have had no energy. So I was looking at something to help me because running around after two boys all day long can get very tiring. So I found Herbalife and its been a great product for me. They have so many different Herbs and Vitamins to help people feel there best. They have a plan that can help you lose weight, maintain your weight, or gain weight. I've just been taking some shakes to help me get the nutrition that I need and some extra vitamins and I feel so much better physically at least. I have honestly not felt this good since my dad passed and it was such a good feeling. So I decided that since I'm feeling so good why not help other people feel good as well? So I signed up to be a distributor and I'm learning all the ropes right now and I'm really enjoying it. So if anyone reading my blog is interested in knowing more information or just wants to pick my brain about health issues that I've learned about e-mail, call, or leave a message on this post. I'm so happy to start feeling better physically it makes me feel like a better mom and a better person. The emotional part will take a lot longer for me to start feeling better but I feel like I've started healing in some ways and other ways of healing will come. Anyway I hope all is well and I'll post again soon about my family. Nothing has really been happening around here I wish I had something to post about!

Fun in February!

So February was a fun month we did some fun stuff but it went by way to fast! I'm trying to catch up so bare with me! Tim and I had to opportunity to go to the Jazz game with my sister Sarah and her husband Cody. We got to sit on the 5th row and it was awesome! It was even better because the tickets were free! This picture above is us at the game and even though I look horrible I had to prove that we were there! I love going on dates with Tim, we never seem to go on enough of them!
Jackson got his first haircut! This is his hair before he got it cut. By the way i didn't do it before we went to get it cut I didn't see the point!

This is my cute boy after he got it cut! He still has so much hair even after getting it cut but its fun to style so I'm not complaining!

Usually on Tuesdays I'll go down to my mom's house and hang out with my sister Sarah and our kids. All the kids love being together and its nice to get out of the house and hang out with some grownups for a little bit. This is Sarah with Matt, Jackson, and her little boy Corbin. Seriously how cute are they?

Here is Jackson and Matt in the bath. They love taking baths together and its so much nicer to have them take a bath at the same time. I love having these pictures for future generations!

This is Matt's lawnmower but he thinks its a vacuum because its so loud! So he was vacuuming one morning with no pants on and since he hates having pants on I wanted to show him later in life how he really was when he was a child. Every time I try to put pants on him he refuses and since I don't want to fight over something so dumb I just don't care anymore. He does wear pants when we go out of the house so I am thankful for that!
So I let the dogs out one morning and I came back inside and here was Jackson having a great time with the pretzels. He was so cute and innocent I couldn't get mad at him I just had to take a picture.
This was Matt's first fort and he was so proud of it.

Okay this picture is a classic. Matt had to go to the bathroom and he had his sunglasses on so naturally I had to get a picture of it. He is such a fun, cute, smart boy!

Last but not least here is Jackson just hanging out in his room. This shows his cute new front teeth that I love because he had a big gap in the middle of them. He is such a great kid and I'm so grateful that he is a part of our family.
I am doing better then I have been in the last little while. Ever since my dad died I've really been struggling with life in general. Even taking off my makeup and brushing my teeth at night was so hard for me because I just didn't care. But in the last two weeks I've finally started to care about myself again and that is a great feeling! Thanks for all of you who have been there for me and helped me through this very difficult time in my life. I don't know what I would do without my family and friends they are everything to me!

Finally Christmas Pics!

So its taken forever to get my Christmas Pictures up because I got a new camera for Christmas and thought I lost the cord to put the pics on the computer and I just found it tonight so I'm pretty happy. Well Christmas was good but very hard this year without my dad. I tried to make the best of the situation but I wanted to break down many times. On Dec 23rd Matt and I tried to make a gingerbread house and we got it to stand for about 2 mins and then it was done. We had lots of fun and got really messy making it. I love Matty so much and I'm so grateful everyday that he is a part of our family!
On Christmas Eve we went to my dad's grave and sang Christmas songs with my Aunt Diane's family. This is my dad's headstone and the Chips and Fries in the corner are because those are my dad's favorites and Tim thought he would enjoy those rather then flowers.

Here is Tim, me and Matty in front of my dad's grave. Jackson was in the car, it was so cold outside that we didn't want him to get sick. I'm hoping that we make this a family tradition to sing Christmas Songs every year at my dad's grave. He loved singing Christmas songs at the hospital and we thought this would be a great way to honor him.

After we went to the cemetery we ate dinner at my mom's house and watched some old Christmas movies when we all lived back in Maryland. I only lived there until I was 6 so it was fun watching all of us when we were so young. Afterwards we all went to the hospital and sang some Christmas carols to about 5 people. It always touches my heart every year I get to do this because I just think about if I was in the hospital and how nice it would be for people to come sing to me. Most of the people are so grateful. This is a picture of my Aunt Diane's entire family. We always have so much fun with them!
Here is our family minus Sarah's husband Cody and her son Corbin, and Tim and Jackson. We are very small compared to my Aunt Diane's family.
We all slept over at my mom's house and it was fun hanging out with just the kids until late at night. We woke up early on Christmas morning of course and opened lots of nice gifts. I know it was hard for my mom this year but she was truly amazing and she was so happy to be with all of her kids.
After presents we made breakfast and then we went up to Tim's parents house. There are 6 grand kids now and they all had a great time opening up presents together. Matt was kind of in a bad mood because he wanted to play with the gifts he had and not open any other one's. We were all pretty tired but we still had lots of fun.
Here is Tim with Matt. Matt fell on the ground on Christmas Eve morning so he had a nice carpet burn for all the pictures you got to love boys!
Here is the cute Wilson family with Heidi, Issac, Ashlynn, Carter, and Tony. We love them all very much. I don't know why but I didn't get a picture of Tim's other sister Carrie or Stephanie and there families. Sorry guys we love you to!

Here is Jackson cuddling Spencer I thought that was adorable! After we opened gifts we went to visit Tim's Grandma Adams and his other Grandma who was in a rehab center because she broke her back. After we got home we were all so tired! We ate a great dinner of grilled cheese sandwiches (I wasn't prepared) and we all went to bed by 8! It was a very nice Christmas and I only cried half a dozen times. I still miss my dad everyday but I know that he's watching out for all of us from the other side! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and my goal for this year is to update my blog every 2 weeks! We'll see how that works out!
