What's been happening

So this week has been pretty good I haven't forgotten my son anywhere, flooded the house anymore, or set our house on fire so I think it was great (I have only flooded the house though so far). On Thursday I got to help Sarah with some wedding stuff and that was fun. We went looking at reception centers and it just makes you excited for weddings, especially being involved in them. She wants Matt to be the ring bearer at her wedding but I told her that she will probably have to have Tim walk with him because he will throw the pillow down the aisle. So that was fun, afterwards I met some friends at Bonneville Park and we let the kids play while we talked and had a good time together. I was not really feeling good that day so I left kind of early, sorry about that girls!
On Saturday I went to a baby shower in the morning and Matt got to be watched by his grandpa. He loves his grandpa and when I walked in the door to get him Matt was on the counter taking all the spices out of the cabinet while my dad was standing beside him watching him and the BYU game. Afterwards we went up to Tim's parents house and we had dinner with everyone and we dressed all the kids up in their costumes and we took pictures and they went trick-or-treating around the room. They all ended up getting a big bag of candy, man their grandparents and great-grandparents must really love them! It was fun seeing everyone and hearing my sister-in -law tell us that she's going to have a baby boy. That means that if we have another boy there will be 5 boys and 1 girls. My niece Ashlynn really wants me to have a little girl, so I told her I would try my best. Anyway our computer broke this week so I have to use Tim's laptop for now so I'm not sure how to put pictures on here. I think we're going to be getting the new computer sometime next week so hopefully I'll have pictures for you then.

Update!

So lots of stuff has been going on in our house lately. I've had some doctors appointments with my OB and also Matt had his two year check up. My OB doctor visit went great and he heard the babies heartbeat right away which is the best sign in the world. Its so hard when the baby is so little and you can't feel them move yet you are never sure if they are really okay. But the baby seems to be okay and I'm finally starting to feel better. I am about 14 weeks along right now and I'll probably go to Fetal Foto in the next two weeks because I pretty much can't handle not knowing what I'm having. Matt is doing so good as well. I took him to the doctor and I had to fill out this questionnaire and he is doing everything he's suppose to be doing and in most areas he's advanced. I was always so nervous when it came to his gross motor skills because that was where he had all the brain damage and the doctors really thought he would have major problems and I just look at him running around and jumping off the couch and I'm just so grateful for him and for all the many things he's able to do. He is such a great boy and such a joy in my life, I don't know what I would do without him.
My little sister Sarah also had some good news happen to her last week. She got engaged to her boyfriend of 2 years Cody Branin and she is very excited. She wanted to have the wedding in April but since I'm due in April she was nice enough to change it to March when I'll be 8 months pregnant instead! I don't care I'll just be huge and that's okay! But we are happy for her as long as she's happy!
Tim has been working like a mad man and its been paying off. His company is doing so well and we are so grateful especially with the economy like it is. He is such an amazing man and I'm so blessed to have him a part of my life. He is a great husband and such a good dad to Matt. Man what would I do without him?
As for me well I'm pretty much just pregnant and forgetting everything. Okay if I tell this story I don't want to hear crap from people because I feel pretty stupid about it. So last week I was soaking one of Matt's shirts and I left the laundry room and I guess I forgot to turn off the water. So about an hour or so later I go to the basement and its totally flooded! I couldn't think of where it was coming from until I ran upstairs and looked in the laundry room and saw the sink. I felt so stupid. Seriously what's my problem? But Tim was so great and he just bought a wet vac and he cleaned up the entire basement for me. I tell you if I can get through this pregnancy without burning our house down that will be amazing!
One other thing we've been doing is Tim bought us a pass to the Legacy Center and we've been going swimming and working out. Matt loves swimming and he pretty much wants to go everyday now. It gives us something to do and its good for our bodies.
So these are a few of the things are little family has been up to, thanks for sticking with me through this, until next time....

Cedar City

Matt and I went down to Cedar City this weekend with Tim's mom for my nephew Spencer's blessing. We left on Friday night and we had Matt and his cousin Ashlynn. They both did really good until about the last hour and then Matt just couldn't take it anymore. It was 10:00 at night as well so he was very tired. But we got down there safely and just hung out all day Saturday. On Saturday afternoon Tim's sister Heidi and her husband Tony came with my other nephew Carter. This above picture is Matt with Carter picking up crayons. All the kids get along so well and we're so lucky that we never have to worry about them. It was such a nice relaxing weekend and it snowed down there so that was very fun to watch, but not to go outside in. Then on Sunday Tim's dad, Tim, his sister Steph, and his grandma all came down to Cedar. They left at 3:00 in the morning because the blessing was at 9:00am. Wow all I have to say is that Tim's family is very devoted and they love their family. I am so blessed to have such wonderful in-laws that I can have fun with and who love Matt so much!
This is a picture of Spencer he was sleeping in the dad's hands while he was trying to burp him. How cute is he!
This is Tim's parents with all their grand kids so far. They will have two more grand kids by next April. I can't believe how big the family is getting.
Here is a picture of Tim's family. They are all so amazing and I love them all. I had a great weekend with everyone and hopefully we can hang out again soon!

Our Landscaping is Done!

This obviously has nothing to do with the landscaping, but Matt found Tim's shirt yesterday and he wanted to wear it so this is him wearing it. He got so mad when I had to take it off of him to. He also wore it all morning. Kids are so funny!
This is a picture of the front of the house. I think the landscapers did a great job. They cleaned everything up so it looked all good which really made me happy!
Here is the backyard. If you can tell we have a water feature/ river in the backyard which is very pretty as well as a fire pit with rocks and trees around it. The rest of the yard it some curbing, bushes, and grass. It turned out great and now that the weather is changing we need to quickly enjoy it while we can!

Sick Week

So for the last 5 days I've pretty much been at home with Matt because he's been sick. He's had a really bad cold and a fever. I feel so bad for him but when he's sick man you better watch out! By the end of the day I'm pretty much toast. I've had to leave 2 nights this week when Tim got home to just get a break. Of course my break was going to the grocery store and getting dinner but hey I got out of the house for more than 5 seconds. Matt is such a good boy and I'm so thankful for his sweet spirit. We did feel bad though because Tim's sister Carrie and her husband Mark came up this weekend with there new baby Spencer and I really wanted to see him but I didn't want to rick Spencer getting sick. But I was pretty sad about not hanging out with Tim's family. But luckily we are going down to Cedar City this weekend for Spencer's blessing so I'll have plenty of time to see him. Matt is totally into babies lately. I've had lots of good friends who have had babies and he just loves them. Whenever he sees them he gets so excited. I hope this keeps going on until we have ours in April. Other than Matt being sick he did go pee pee on the potty twice last week as well! I haven't been pushing him to go really I just put him on there before he takes a bath and sometimes he goes and other times he doesn't. But hopefully he'll be totally potty trained in the next 6 months. Any who hopefully this week is exciting in some way or another. Tim just bought our family a pass to the Legacy Center in Lehi which is pretty much like a gym and swimming pool. I think Matt will love the pool so hopefully if he feels better this week I'll be able to take him.
