Easter 2008

This is a picture of Matt after he opened his Easter basket. He could have cared less about the things inside the basket, he loved the blue grass! That is a great toy for kids to just throw around but a pain to clean up.
Here's a picture of Tim and Matt right before we went to church. Matt had his new outfit on that his Grandma Adams gave him and he looked so cute!
Here's a picture of Matt and me. Matt also went to nursery for the first time today. He just turned 18 months old I can't believe it! It was funny because Tim and me were freaking out thinking he wouldn't like and and he loved it. When we went to pick him up he was asleep and all the kids were playing around him. =)
After church we went to my mom's house and had dinner and an Easter egg hunt. Since Matt is the only grandchild he had lots of eggs to get all by himself. He wasn't sure what he was doing but he liked picking the eggs up and shaking them. It was a great Easter and I'm so thankful for my family and friends.

Matt's New Haircut

So today I decided to trim Matt's hair because it was going past his ears. So I get out the trimmer and start to do it and what happens I go to far and I have to shave his entire head! I actually almost started crying. I love him with hair but its nice to not have to do it as well. So from now on I told Tim I'm going to take him to a professional because I pretty much don't know what I'm doing. :)
This is a better view of his little head. :( But he still looks cute! That's all that matters right?

Lots of Fun Stuff Happening!

So its been awhile since my last post and that's because our computer was not working. We just got it back yesterday so I'm blogging again! Last Sunday we went to Tim's parents house and hung out with them and these are a couple of pictures that we got. This is Matt, his cousin Carter and Grandpa (do you notice Tim texting in the back round wow there's a shock!) The boys always have fun together and its great being with family
Here is a picture of the boys playing go fish with Grandma. They had fun being with there Grandma.
This was on Tuesday when the weather was awesome. I took Matt to the park and Tim saw me outside playing so he grabbed the camera and got a picture of us. For those of you who have never been to my house we live right behind a park so its so nice for Matt to be able to play over there.
Sorry I didn't rotate the picture I forgot but this is Matt and my dad and Matt has his cute hat on. He was totally into hats on Thursday and he wanted some hat on his head all day long. It was really funny. He hasn't done that since this day. Kids can be so random sometimes I love it!
This is a picture of the Rascal Flatts concert which was two weeks ago. It was so fun! Me and a bunch of my cousins went out to dinner and then to the concert. It was a pretty good concert I just wish they could have sang more then talked. I love their music though!

So Matt's been sick these last two days and I feel so bad for him. He started throwing up yesterday afternoon and he hasn't stopped. Then today I thought we were doing good and all of the sudden he throws up again later this afternoon. This has been a long long long winter, and I am so excited for nice hot weather.

Oh I wanted to update you about my hip, so I talked to my doctor and I guess I have a tare in my hip. I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do because the surgery for it is pretty bad so I'm going to talk to him on Monday and see what the best option would be. I don't want to get surgery but if that's the only thing that will help me feel better I guess I don't have any other choice. So hopefully I can figure something else out but if I can't I am glad that we have modern technology to help with these problems. Until next time.....

Updates!

So I wanted to update everyone on how Matt is doing. A couple of days after his really high fever he broke out in a nasty rash. So I took him to the doctor and he looked at him and diagnosed him with Roseola no pneumonia. So I was glad that he didn't have pneumonia but I wasn't sure what Roseola was. He said its a virus that kids between the age of 1-2 get sometimes and they get a really high fever followed by a rash all over their bodies. So now he's completely over everything and doing great!
So I went and got an MRI done today on my hip. I was actually really nervous because I just want to know what's going on. For those of you who don't know I've had hip pain because I dislocated my hip 9 years ago and its never gone away so now I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with it. So I get to the hospital and the doctor tells me that they have to inject this colored dye in my hip so they can see all the different ligaments and tendons and stuff. I had no idea they were going to inject me with anything. So I get the the "Injection" room and the needle is no lie longer then my finger. I thought I was going to pass out. He had to go to my bone to get my hip completely numb and then they stuck this little tube in my hip to put the fluid in there. I had this done at 3:00 and now its 10:00 and my hip is still numb and half of my leg. My body does not do well with injections. So anyway I was going to get my MRI done and they ask me do you have anything metal on your body and I say no. So they have me all strapped in and there putting me down the tube and I forgot I had bobby pins in my hair! So it felt like someone was trying to pull all my hair out. I started yelling at the guy to get me out and he probably thought I was an idiot but I don't care. So then I had my arms down by my side and after twenty five mins. the lady gets on the speaker and asks if I have my arms on my side, I told her I did and she said I wasn't suppose to have them there so they had to start the test all over again. So I had to be in the tube for another 25 mins, I seriously thought I would never get out!
Then to top everything off they put my right leg in a weird position so they could see my left hip good so when I finally got out of the tube my right leg hurt so bad! I was walking out of the hospital looking like an idiot. I had my left leg numb to my knee and my other leg was in so much pain. I would have loved to be a bystander looking at me I would have laughed my head off! So anyway there's an update of my lovely MRI experience. I'll post again when I find out what's going on. Until then......
