Updates!

So I wanted to update everyone on how Matt is doing. A couple of days after his really high fever he broke out in a nasty rash. So I took him to the doctor and he looked at him and diagnosed him with Roseola no pneumonia. So I was glad that he didn't have pneumonia but I wasn't sure what Roseola was. He said its a virus that kids between the age of 1-2 get sometimes and they get a really high fever followed by a rash all over their bodies. So now he's completely over everything and doing great!
So I went and got an MRI done today on my hip. I was actually really nervous because I just want to know what's going on. For those of you who don't know I've had hip pain because I dislocated my hip 9 years ago and its never gone away so now I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with it. So I get to the hospital and the doctor tells me that they have to inject this colored dye in my hip so they can see all the different ligaments and tendons and stuff. I had no idea they were going to inject me with anything. So I get the the "Injection" room and the needle is no lie longer then my finger. I thought I was going to pass out. He had to go to my bone to get my hip completely numb and then they stuck this little tube in my hip to put the fluid in there. I had this done at 3:00 and now its 10:00 and my hip is still numb and half of my leg. My body does not do well with injections. So anyway I was going to get my MRI done and they ask me do you have anything metal on your body and I say no. So they have me all strapped in and there putting me down the tube and I forgot I had bobby pins in my hair! So it felt like someone was trying to pull all my hair out. I started yelling at the guy to get me out and he probably thought I was an idiot but I don't care. So then I had my arms down by my side and after twenty five mins. the lady gets on the speaker and asks if I have my arms on my side, I told her I did and she said I wasn't suppose to have them there so they had to start the test all over again. So I had to be in the tube for another 25 mins, I seriously thought I would never get out!
Then to top everything off they put my right leg in a weird position so they could see my left hip good so when I finally got out of the tube my right leg hurt so bad! I was walking out of the hospital looking like an idiot. I had my left leg numb to my knee and my other leg was in so much pain. I would have loved to be a bystander looking at me I would have laughed my head off! So anyway there's an update of my lovely MRI experience. I'll post again when I find out what's going on. Until then......

I can totally relate with the MRI experiences. I have had 2 in the past year and one more in June. They are claustropbic! You are a trooper and I hope that you can find out what is wrong. I still have hip pain too. I just feel like I will just be in pain the rest of my life :) I am looking forward to Tomorrow!! Did you like Juno?
