What a Week!

We started out the week by visiting Grandma Bishop. We haven't seen her for awhile so we decided to go visit. She didn't want me to take her picture but I took one anyway!
This is a picture of Matt with his pants on his head. Tim thinks its so funny to bug him and this was one thing he did a couple of weeks ago. I love the way he's posing!
At the end of the week on Friday I got together with some of my old friends from College. We graduated together and since there was only 10 of us graduating in community health we all became tight. We haven't seen each other since graduation so it was fun to catch up see each other's kids and just hang out. Matt was not very happy in the picture because he was sick and I didn't know it yet.
He's been sick all weekend long with a very high fever. We took him to the doctor on Friday night and we found out he has pneumonia. I feel so bad for him. He's taking lots of medicine right now though so hopefully he'll get better soon.

Fun Pictures

This is a picture of Matt on his first birthday which was on September 21. (I know this is totally late but I didn't have a blog at that time so I'm posting this for fun now!) He had a cake all for himself and he loved it! I had never given him any type of candy until this point so when he tasted the goodness of chocolate he loved it! I wonder where he got that from? :)

My brother Brandon decided to paint a beard on his face since he had cake all over his face already. You've got to love brothers!

This is a picture of Matt at the zoo for his birthday with my mom. She wants him to call her Grammie. Matt also loves hanging out with Grammie as well.

Happy Valentines (One day Late)

Well I hope that everyone had a good Valentines day. To my suprise I didn't do anything I thought I would do yesterday. Every year Tim and I switch who is in charge of Valentines day and this year it was my turn. So I thought that since Tim was going to work Matt and I would suprise him and come visit him and bring a bag of treats. So I had this plan in mind but then yesterday morning Tim tells me that he's taking the whole day off work to be with me! He hasn't had a day off for a very long time. He's been working all week long doing Cintas/Construction stuff and then on Saturdays he trains dogs until 4:00 so pretty much he's never home during the week. He changed all of his appointments so that he could be with me. That's all I wanted to Valentines and I thought it was great. We ended up not being together most of the day because I had to get an x-ray on my hip and that took forever. But after that we went to the mall and went shopping, got new phones, and got some takeout from Cafe Rio. I wasn't in the mood to take Matt anywhere he was so cranky. Then we watched a movie last night and tonight Tim's mom is going to watch Matt so we can actually go out to a movie. I'm very happy that we celebrate Valentines Day because I think we sometimes forget to take time out for the people we love the most. I hope my amazing husband had a great day and I just enjoyed spending time with him. Oh by the day I have not seen any mice for about a week now! I think there all gone Yeah!

Update

So we caught two mice this week. Yeah! We got these cool mice traps that are a little square box and they have this sticky stuff on the bottom so when the mice try to run underneath it they get stuck. We've caught two mice this way and it seems to work well. We hope that's all the mice that are in the house. Let's cross our fingers!
This has been a pretty frusterating week with Matt. He's cutting a tooth and he's been very cranky. I feel so bad for him but I don't know what to do to make him happy. He pretty much wants me to hold him all day long and since I can't do that he gets upset. So hopefully this week will be better and he'll be feeling better.
My little world right now is pretty much the same I've just been reading lots of books this week so I don't go crazy with Matt. If anyone likes LDS romance novels I totally recommend Anita Stansfield books they are awesome! My mom has all of them so I just borrow them from her. Other than the whole crazy thing with the mice we've had a pretty slow moving week. I'm excited for Valentines Day this year because I'm in charge so I need to come up with something fun to do does anyone have any suggestions?

I survived!

I just wanted everyone to know that I survived the night without a scratch or a nibble on my body. If your wondering what in the heck I'm talking about you'll need to read my post below.

What a Day!

Okay so your probably wondering why I put this picture of a mouse on my post right, well I'll tell you why. So today has been a very weird day to say the least. This morning we wake up and what a suprise its snowing again, but this time its a blizzard outside. So I'm getting ready for church and I notice that Matt is not with me, so I look into my room and I see him with my cleansing cream all over his hands. He was wiping his hands on the pillows, the dresser, the carpet, and all over himself. I would have taken a picture but I was in a hurry to get us ready for church. So I clean him up and we get to church in all the snow. So we only had sacrament meeting because the snow was so bad so we all got to go home early. We helped everyone in our area shovel their driveways and some paths so we can all get out cars out and it was nice helping out all of our neighbors. We tried to watch the Superbowl but I pretty much only like it for the commercials so when the game wasn't on I was all tuned in to see which commercial would be funny. Tim and I were shocked to see that the Giants won the Superbowl! Wow good for them! So anyway the rest of the day went pretty good until later tonight. I was in my room reading a book when all of the sudden this little mouse comes running out of our bathroom. I was screaming and Tim was wondering what in the heck was going on. I told him there was a mouse in the bathroom and he told me to bring a dog upstairs to ge the mouse. So I do this and the dog goes to be with Tim. So anyway I'm sitting there again and all of the sudden the mouse runs down the hall. So we looked for the mouse everywhere and we couldn't find it. So now I'm pretty freaked out to go to bed because all I can think of is this mouse crawling all over me while I sleep. EWWWWW! I'll write later and let you all know if I survived the night!
